Joan is half-monster, half-human, with a crush on very human Nick… who turns out to be a monster slayer. After surviving an attack, she goes on the run, time travelling to safety with beautiful, posh Aaron, from a rival monster family, and her cousin. Something very strange is happening with the monster world timeline and Joan is desperate to help her family…

This is a wonderful, well written, gripping page-turner of a time-travelling fantasy novel. Excellent world creation with plenty of action, humour and romance. The first in a trilogy – and I can’t wait to read them all.
