Mini-Review
When Iris Hollow was seven, she and her two sisters disappeared mysteriously from an Edinburgh street at midnight on New Year’s Eve… then just as mysteriously reappeared in the same place a month later with no memory of what happened. Their hair turned white, their eyes turned black and they grew to become beautiful and strangely alluring. Now they’re being stalked by a strange man in a bull’s skull mask… or is it a minotaur? Where did they go all those years ago and what happened to them?
A very engaging fantastical gothic horror novel with some gruesome aspects, but not so scary that I couldn’t enjoy it. Dark (especially towards the end), but still YA. Well written. For students 15+.
