Mini-Review
Libby Lawrence is smart and she loves acting. She longs for a good role in her university drama group. But there are significant complications, what with the charming but feckless Nightingale, Heathcliffian Roarke and dependable Will, not to mention looking after her best friend Ella and avoiding the gossipy grapevine of the Uni Rep WhatsApp. I binge-read this smart, witty and romantic YA/NA campus novel set in the intense am-dram world with lots of little insights into Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, with a side of Wuthering Heights. Definitely recommend. Mild references to sex and alcohol, mild swearing.
