Mini-Review
Alice grows up in an abusive family then lives with her grandmother on a flower farm where she learns the language of flowers. Lots of lovely imagery and motifs in this crowdpleasing emotional (sometimes verging on the sudsy) story. This would be a good Texts and Human Experiences related text for an average English Advanced student or a good English Standard student.
