The Maid by Nita Prose

Mini-Review

Molly loves her job as a maid at a fancy boutique hotel. She loves to follow rules and she loves to clean. She doesn’t always read people very well or understand what they do. When she discovers a dead guest, she becomes mixed up in a mystery.

Absolutely gripped by this – total page turner. Some people have said that they think Molly is a bit of a neurodivergent stereotype, however. I enjoyed it. The audiobook narration was good – all the voices seemed to suit the characters and none of the accents were annoying.

Fyi: death of loved ones, grief, fraud, physical abuse, domestic abuse, drug references, murder & other deaths, terminal illness
