Mini-Review
After killing a fairy in the guise of a wolf, a spirited young mortal woman is taken to the land of fairies and is swept up in the dangerous intrigues and romances of the fairy courts.
An enjoyable fantasy rewrite of Beauty & the Beast, which owes much to Twilight, The Hunger Games and, I think, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The opening chapters in fairyland are a bit slow and sometimes feel a bit pointless, but the action picks up, and it all makes sense in the end. Includes at least one quite saucy scene and quite a bit of violence.
