Mini-Review
This is the story of Alicia who, after being sexually abused by a popular teacher, is stuck in a self-destructive spiral: quitting track, joylessly sleeping around, not caring about school, losing her religious best friend. New friends, a new romantic interest and some caring adults bring some hope into her life. And someone keeps putting notes in her locker. Perhaps she’s not the only one to have suffered the wolf’s attack?
A compelling verse/text/list novel about the consequences of sexual assault, the corruption of power, white privilege and general oppression.
