Mini-Review
Bianca has two beautiful friends, so popular player Wesley calls her the Duff – designated ugly fat friend. But when Bianca’s life starts getting difficult, she finds distraction in an enemies-with-benefits relationship with gorgeous Wesley. But… is she starting to catch feelings?
Well written snarky/funny teen voice. Bianca is a good role model – mostly – realising that judging others for their looks or sexual behaviour is pointless and hypocritical. Some serious issues here, including divorce, alcoholism and parental abandonment, with a short moment of drunken domestic violence. Overall, however, the tone and treatment is fairly light. Consensual relations – depiction is not graphic. Suitable for 16+.
