Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber

Mini-Review

Evangeline Fox will do anything to stop her love from marrying her step-sister… even make a deal with the magical but dastardly Prince of Hearts. He extracts a high price: three kisses to be given to the people he chooses at the times he chooses. But the price turns out to be even higher than Evangeline thinks, and it’s unclear who she can – and can’t – trust.

This is a very engaging, thoroughly enjoyable romantasy. Lots of twists… every time I thought I knew where Garber was taking the plot, she took it somewhere else. Intensely swoony moments, but quite PG. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series and recommending it to year 7 and up!
