Mini-Review
Jude and her sisters are taken to faerie land by their father figure, who killed their mother… it’s complicated. There, Jude is a clumsy mortal in a world of beautiful, graceful fae. To survive, she has to learn to play the game of strategy and betrayal better than they do.
I loved the first two-thirds of this, well written and menacing, but I found the last third too detailed, complicated and less interesting. There’s a lot of violence and some innuendo, but nothing beyond that.
