Hello, I’m Felicity, and this is my TL (teacher librarian) blog!
I’m interested in all things library, including teaching, books, genrefication, AI, research, writing, referencing (unhealthy obsession with APA 7), and the library as a pastoral ‘third place’. I also love grammar.
As an avid YA reader, classics buff and former English & HSIE teacher, I happily devour a wide range of books (everything but genuine horror), with a special love for anything funny. I also love nonfiction, especially discursive essays. And, as a fulltime TL and mum, I *love* audiobooks. I can do any amount of housework, cooking and chauffering if I’ve got a gripping novel to listen to! I am fussy about accents, though (prefer the Brits).
Thank you so much to TL blogging icons Krystal Gagen-Spriggs (The Lifting Librarian and my favourite MEd(TL) lecturer!) and Madison Dearnaley (Madison’s Library) for their advice on starting a blog. Krystal even shared her WordPress theme with me (Dyad 2), which looks amazing!
